The death has occurred of Ann Holmes (née Cloke), Borris, Co Carlow

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Holmes (née Cloke) of Spahill, Borris, Co Carlow, who passed away peacefully at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny, on Thursday, 9th January 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe.

Rest in Peace

Ann will be deeply missed by her daughters Lorraine and Madelaine, her son-in-law Darragh, Lorraine’s partner Gavin, and her cherished granddaughter Harper. She is also mourned by her brothers Larry and Mike, her sister Mary, her nephews, nieces, and her many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Joyce’s Funeral Home, Borris, on Sunday, 12th January 2025, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 13th January 2025, at 11:00 am in St Fortchern’s Church, Rathanna, followed by cremation at Newland’s Cross Crematorium on Tuesday at 1:30 pm.
