The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Coady, Rathanna, Borris, Co Carlow.

Jimmy, beloved husband of Mary and adored father of Deirdre, Richard, Seamus and Francis, passed away peacefully at his home on 31st January 2025, surrounded by his heartbroken family. Predeceased by his daughter Colette, sisters Mary and Nan and brother Pierce.

Deeply regretted by his wife, daughter, sons, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Rénee and Áine, adored grandchildren James, Sean, Aidan, Sarah, Eimer, Darragh, Rían, Holly and Méabh, sisters Ciss and Breda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Breen’s Funeral Home, Borris, on Sunday, 2nd February 2025, from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Removal from his home on Monday morning, 3rd February 2025, to arrive at St Fortchern’s Church, Rathanna, for 12:00 noon Requiem Mass, followed immediately afterwards by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
