The death has occurred of John Maher, Slyguff Bridge, Bagenalstown, Co Carlow.

John ​​​passed away, suddenly and peacefully, at his home in Slyguff on Sunday 24th September 2023. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Bessie, his children Catherine, Sean, Mary and Martina, sons-in-law Owen, Billy and Ger, daughter-in-law Donna, his loving brothers Liam and Frank, sister Kathleen, his adored ten grandchildren, Lauren, Conor, Emma, Erin, Kyle, Nina, Julian, Daithi, Lucy and Hannah, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

REST IN PEACE

Reposing at his home from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm on Wednesday 27th September 2023, with Prayers at 6:00 pm. Removal on Thursday 28th September 2023 for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon in St Patrick’s Church, Ballymurphy, with interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House strictly private on Thursday morning. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the  BEAM CENTRE, Bagenalstown.
