The death has occurred of Mary Cunningham (née Byrne), Cournellan, Borris, Co Carlow, R95 C788 / Raheny, Dublin.

Mary Cunningham (née Byrne), latterly of Cournellan, Borris, Co Carlow, formerly Raheny, Dublin, died peacefully on 28th August 2024  in the care of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predecessed by her loving husband Patrick and her brother Mikey. Deeply missed by her daughters, Teresa, Claire, Dolores and Una, their partners Rob, Nigel and Morgan. Dearly loved grandmother of Adam, Aisling, Rob, Laura, Tom and Siobhán. Great grandmother to Aibhe. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Simon and Pat and sister Nancy. and her sisters-in-law Iris, Carrie and Kathleen, niece and nephews, family and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at her daughter’s home, Cournellan, Borris (R95 C788), on Thursday, from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Removal on Friday morning at 11:30 am to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon at the Sacred Heart Church, Borris, Co Carlow, followed by interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Ballymurphy, Borris.
