The death has occurred of Michael Dalton, Borris Little, Portlaoise, Co Laois / Formerly Ballytiglea, Borris, Co Carlow

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, 27th August 2020, Michael Dalton, Borris Little, Portlaoise, and late of Ballytiglea, Borris, Co Carlow. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dearly loved father of Andrew, Patrick, Patricia, Michael, Catriona, Fergal, Rosemary and Martina. Cherished grandfather to his fifteen grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers Séan and Tom, sisters Sheila and Rosemary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace

Due to the current exceptional circumstances related to the Covid-19 pandemic, and to protect the welfare of everyone who knew him, a private funeral, for immediate family only, will take place at 12:00 noon on Saturday, 29th August 2020, in Sts Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise. It  will be streamed live on the church webcam http://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/web-cam/.  Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Sts Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
