The death has occurred of Rev. Fr Augustine (Gus) Sheehan, Borris, Co Carlow / Bruree, Co Limerick

Sheehan, Rev. Fr. Augustine (Gus), (Long Island, New York / Bruree, Limerick) 2nd August 2016. Diocesan Priest, Diocese of Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York, son of the late Sean and Nora Sheehan, predeceased by his brother Fr. Patrick (Paddy) Sheehan, survived by his sister Eileen Conway, nieces Cliona and Helen, nephews Kieran and Ronan, their families and extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank Borris Lodge Nursing Home, Borris, Co. Carlow, for their exemplary care in Gus’ final years.

Rest in Peace

Funeral Mass at Missionaries of Sacred Heart, Woodview House, Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin at 11.00 am on Friday followed by burial at Deansgrange Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul.
